This year marks Gray’s 40th year in the global produce industry and she joins the existing board members to bring a fresh perspective to the company.

Gray has worked with some of the top produce companies in the world including; The Oppenheimer Group, Turners and Growers ENZA International, Frieda's Inc., Vanguard International, The Autenrieth Co., World Wide Fruit (UK), BC Hot House Foods, Central California Orange Growers Cooperative and Sunkist Growers Inc.

“Adding a talent of Dawn’s caliber to our board is the next step as we continue to expand and grow our fresh produce business,” said Murray Driediger, president and CEO of BCfresh. “Her experience, leadership qualities, and industry relationships are a huge benefit to our organization. We are celebrating our one-year anniversary in our new 55,000 square foot distribution facility and are well positioned for future growth.”

Gray’s hard work and outside of the box thinking have earned her the respect of industry leaders. She has helped companies all across the supply chain to increase sales, reduce market-based and operational costs, create operations savings and zero in on how to go to market with a cost-effective and targeted plan.

This past year, Gray was honored by the Produce Marketing Association’s Center for Growing Talent with the first Women’s Catalyst Award. “Winning this meant a great deal to me,” said Gray. “This award brings to mind the opportunities I have had to make an impact on this industry. I look forward to having a similarly positive impact at BCfresh.”
