FPFC meets in Southern California

DSC 0064On Oct. 3, the impressive Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Southern California served as the venue for the October membership luncheon of the Fresh Produce & Floral Council. More than 250 members and guests attended the event, which featured a moving keynote address by Natalie Grumet, a survivor of both cancer and the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting of a year ago. Using the “This is my story” format, Grumet took the audience through a grueling account of her journey. Her message is that life is full of adversity and each of us has the ability to overcome our own challenges.
